Wheatcroft stated that present traffic <br />flow does not warrant an additional light. <br />Mayor Beebe stated the paper work and time involved to acquire <br />a traffic light is very extensive as the Village has experienced <br />with Heinen's light. <br />.Councilman Carmen stated that Council was open to new suggestions <br />and will continue the investigation to come up with a solution. <br />Mr. Bennett stated he would circulate Mr. Marquardt's letter and <br />reopen the matter later. <br />Mr. Norman Kotoch, 6717 Wildwood Trail, questioned the creditibility <br />of the traffic survey. <br />Police Chief Stevens stated that the survey was taken over a four <br />week period and he realized that further studies would have to be <br />made. - <br />Mr--.-.Kotoch questioned if originally the plan did not show two <br />streets. <br />Mr. Steve Hovancsek stated the two points for ingress and egress <br />were Wildwood/S.O.M. and Zorn Lane. He also stated it could <br />compound problems to make another outlet, and he did not feel it <br />was feasible. <br />Mr. Kotoch stated the problem was going on for too long. <br />Mayor Beebe stated that Council is aware of the problem and capies <br />of the letter will be distributed to all residents affected. <br />Further discussion was held regarding. the addition of stop signs <br />and traffic lights, but a't this time,the intersection does not <br />warrant this. Engineer Steve Hovancsek stated that once the <br />development is complete, signs might be the answer: <br />Mayor Beebe suggested that children not be permitted to play in <br />the' street. <br />Councilwoman Trask questioned about "slow, children" signs and <br />Mayor Beebe stated there were already signs posted,, <br />Councilman Spellman stated that the speeding traffic problem does <br />not only exist on Wildwood Trail exclusively, but throughout the <br />Village. <br />
