__ ~®-, <br />Mr. Carmen stated the Representatives from the two Cable <br />Television companies were present. (1) Ms. Marie Coffey from <br />Viacom, and (2) Mr. Ray Leporati from Cablevision. Mr. Carmen <br />asked that discussion be held with each Representative, separately, <br />to avoid a feeling of competitiveness when answering questions. <br />Ms. Marie Coffey of Viacom spoke in behalf of Viacom, explaining <br />their services. She will have their Law Department prepare by <br />Friday (December 12) what they. feel is unacceptable in our <br />Ordinance. <br />Mr. Ray_Lepora.ti spoke in behalf of Cablevision, discussing the <br />size of their operation and service staff, cost per month, et <br />cetera. Mr. Carmen read his copy of their installation service <br />letter, which he will distribute to Council. Mr. Leporati <br />extended an invitation to visit their,.r facility.; ,,,-' <br />Mr. Carmen to further study the two Cable Television companies. <br />That portion of the meeting .concluded. <br />Ordinance 80-67, entitled; "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE <br />FOR TRANSFER AND APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR VARIOUS PURPOSES <br />DURING THE YEAR 1980."
