Regular Council Meeting
6-16-97
Page 11
Mayor Rinker asked why the legislation for the hot box was not going to be considered (per
Finance Committee report earlier this evening.)
Mrs. Cinco said it would take 6 weeks to have it made and delivered. So, they asked the Service
Director to check with the vendor-if we purchase this, they will loan us one rent-free.
OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state
their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under
"New Business" only.
There were no comments.
ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL
There were no other matters before Council.
CLOSING CONAdENTS
1VIr. Buckholtz thanked Council for the lovely fruit basket Council sent.
Mr. Buckholtz asked if Marra is done and why they skipped the Schreiber property.
Mr. Cappello said Marra is done.
Mayor Rinker said he told her to ha.ve her landscaper fix it and we will foot the bill. When a
project like this is done we want it to look better than when we began.
Mr. Cappello said the paving was to begin mid-June. He thinks it will be pushed back because of
the weather.
Mr. Marquardt congratulated Mark Kramer and Donna for working on the Village's web site.
Miss Heath said she has given Mark the information for the web--he has been putting it on the
site. We still need Council's input. She asked if Council would give it to her this evening because
Mark wants to wrap this up this week.
Mr. Ferrante aslced what happened to the traffic signal for the fire station.
Chief Mohr said they received thepermit for the light from the State. After looking at the amount
of traffic and we have been able to get out without it-so we decided to hold offbecause of the
costs.
Dr. Parker said he noticed some of the landscaping bricks out front have settled.
