Regular Counckl Meeting
11-17-97
Page 6
Mr. Busa asked if permits ha.ve been issued.
Mr. Samac said pernuts are part of the process. They want to be up front with Council as far as
what has been requested. If Councii has no objection, he wfll issue a permit. If Council objects,
he will not.
Mr. Buckholtz asked where the construction will begin in relationship to the stockpile.
Mr. Sheehy said the exact location of #he proposed building isn't known. Generally, it will be due
west of the mound, possiblra little bit southwest. They also view the mound as a sereening for
construction. They must put a temporary cable
gate across the-azea to keep landscapers and other people from dumping trash there during the
operation.
Mr. Buckholtz asked if Progressive would be responsible if someone does dump there.
Mrs. Cinco asked if the Village has existing legisla.tion about dumping with fines, etc.
Mr. Hovancsek and Mr. Samac said yes.
Mr. Busa said he has received calls from neighbors who think the golf course looks bad now.
