Regular Council Meeting <br />12-8-97 <br />Page 4 <br />There were no comments. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Council President Fixler asked for a motion of Council for an Executive Session to discuss real <br />estate ma.tters. <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motionto amend the agenda to include an Executive <br />Session to discuss real estate matters. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Council President Fixler asked that the Executive Session be held between ConsideYation of Side <br />Yard Ijariance Request and the Nortlnvest Quadrant. <br />Consideration of Side Yard Variance Request - 6707 Wilson 1VIills Road (BOA case No. 97-8) <br />Mr. Ron Russo and Ken Muhlbach came forward. <br />Mr. Russo said they have decided to build an addition to their home. They need more garage space. <br />They have a snowmobile, a boat, 2 cars a classic car. The plans they come up to fit their needs best <br />require them to go within 7 feet of the property line. He believes they are about 13' now. <br />Council President Fixler asked him to state the amount of variance he is requesting, for the record. <br />Mr. Russo said he is trying to go within 7 feet of the property line. <br />Mr. Samac said the minimum requirement for a side yard is 10'. (This would be a variance of 3'.) <br />Council President Fixler asked if he has neighbors on either side of his property. <br />Mr. Russo said there are neighbors on the side of the property he wants to add on to. Mr. Russo <br />said he owns the lot on the other side. There are neighbors across the street. <br />Council President Fixler asked if Mr. Russo has spoken to the neighbors. <br />Mr. Russo said he has spoken to the Millers and they said they have no problem with it. <br />Conncil.President Fixler asked if Mr. Russo or Mr. Samac had a letter to that effect. <br />Mr. Russo and Mr. Samac said no. Mr. Samac said they do, by law, notify all adjacent property <br />owners within 300'. They received no response.
