IZegular Council 1Vleetialg
12-8-97
Page 6
NAYS: Mrs. Cinco and Mr. Ferrante
Motion Carried
Variance Granted
Council President Fixler said he expects them to provide the Building Department with a true
professional set of plans. Don't come back for something else because this is a rough drawing.
Exeeutive Session
Mr. Buckholtz, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to recess into ExecutFVe Session to
discuss real estate matters.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
Council President Fixler asked the gentlemen from Progressive to remain.
Council went into Executive Session at 9:30 p.m.
Council reconvened at 10:08 p.m.
Northwest Quadrant
Couricil President Fiyder said we would like to see Progressive go forward with the 51 odd acres. If
they are asking for Council's inclinatiori tonight, we like scenario #3--with the idea. that #he
recreational facilities be together. In addition to that, we would like the opportunity for the Village
Engineer to have some input on the road. If they make the line straight, it would cut into potential
recreational land.
Mayor Rinlcer said in the event it makes sense later on the curve that road to the southwest to
accommodate a different crossing of the wetlands, it will have a direct impact on the area described
in the sale._ We would want to be sure the deed description would accommodate that.
Mr. (Jack) Bialosky asked what would happen if the road would be described as in #3, it would be
stubbed offbecause it need not be continued at this time beyond that.
Mayor Rinker said Progressive has represented on more than one occasion it could. live with the
drawing as it was demonstrated in the brochure. We are not wedded to it, but are inclined to go
with the layout that shows the road mmning along the parking lot.
Mr. (Jack) Bialosky said there are setbacks they must work with.
