Regular Council Meeting <br />6-19-00 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Cable Review Committee - Mr. Ilacqua said the Cable Review Committee is simply awaiting <br />word from our Law Director Joe Diemert on the status of negotiations as we are in the throws of <br />finalizing. <br />Wage Review Committee - Mr. Ilacqua said the Wage Review Committee met Thursday with a <br />party from the Fire Department that had some concerns and issues they wanted to address and <br />will have further discussion about other relative matters in Executive Session. <br />S.O.M. Center Road Widening Committee - Mr. Ilacqua said the S.O.M. Center Road Widening <br />Committee will be meeting tomorrow night. Mr. Ilacqua said they are looking to move towards <br />a decision on making recommendation to Council for the burial of the utility lines and would like <br />Council to think about the importance and cost of the issue. <br />-OLD BUSINESS <br />Executive Session (Personnel Matters) <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to recess into Executive Session to discuss <br />personnel matters. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Council went into Executive Session at 8:25 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 9:35 p.m. <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 2000-11, entitled; "An emergency ordinance approving the <br />final draft Solid Waste Management Plan Update 2001-2015 of the Cuyahoga County Solid <br />Waste Management District." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. (First <br />Reading 5-15-00) <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. BuckhoItz, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2000-11. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there was any discussion. <br />
