Regular Council Meeting <br />9-18-00 <br />Page 12 <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2000-37. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there were any comments. <br />Mr. Ilacqua said this would ultimately transfer to Adelphia pending the sale of Cablevision Systems <br />to them. <br />Dr. Parker asked if this includes the senior discount as well as the Upper 40. <br />Mr. Busa asked if the senior discount is $1.00. <br />Mr. Ilacqua said yes. <br />Mr. Diemert said the provision says that within 90 days they will give notice to -the seniors and the <br />discount will kick in within 100 days after that. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked their definition of senior. <br />Mr. Diemert said 65. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />Fist Reading of Ordinance No. 2000-38, entitled; An emergency ordinance amending and <br />supplementing Chapter 945 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Mayfield relating to the <br />regulation of cable television."
