Mrs. Mills asked if the letter was going to be sent out. Mr. Brett said unless someone has a different idea. It may go with the ballot issue explanation letter. ^ Right of First Refusal -Rentschler property - 764 S.O.M. Center Road Council President Marquardt asked if this needed to be done by ordinance. Mr. Diemert said a motion to exercise our option is all we need" to do. Mr. Ilacqua, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to exercise the Village's option regarding the Rentschler property, at 764 S.O.M. Mr. Ilacqua said he has given this issue a great deal of thought and has spoken to Village officials and Mr. DiMichele. He is confident Mr. DeMichele is not getting involved in this endeavor for real estate speculation to turn and flip the property; he thinks his intentions are honorable. If he chose to buy the property, he would be razing it. It is our pledge to protect the interests of the Village. That property is certainly adjacent.
