<br />1 <br /> <br />Regular Council Meefing <br />10-16-00 <br />Page 15 <br />Mr. Brett said you could do it through a nature conservancy or a simple deed restriction. <br />Mr. Diemert said a deed restriction can be put on there for anything that is reasonable. <br />Mr. Ilacqua said if they buy the lot, no matter how noble their intentions may be, an offer may come <br />along that is simply too difficult for them to turn down. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Authorization given for Village to exercise its option on the right of first refusal for the Rentschler <br />property. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2000-41, entitled; "An ordinance appropriating funds for current <br />expenses & expenditures of Mayfield Village; Ohio for the period from January 1, 2000 and ending <br />December 31, 2000 and declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a <br />Whole. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance 2000-41. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there were any comments. <br />Mr. Brett said he sent Council the appropriation ordinance and made note of the 3 changes. He <br />asked if there were any questions on the changes. <br />There were no comments. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2000-42, An emergency ordinance authorizing the Village to enter <br />into the Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council of Governments and the execution and delivery of <br />the agreement establishing such Council, for the purpose of jointly establishing and implementing an <br />electricity aggregation program." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />
