Those who wish to speak must first state <br />their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under <br />"Old Business" only. <br />There were no comments. <br />NEW BUSINESS .. <br />Council President Marquardt said regarding the next two items, Council must vote for one or the <br />other; both can't be authorized. <br />• A motion to authorize the use of metal halide lighting on SOM Center Road from Wilson <br />Mills to White Road <br />Council President Marquardt said this is the white light. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to authorize the use of metal halide lighting on <br />SOM Center Road from Wilson Mills to White Road. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there were any comments. <br />Mrs. Cinco said she was at the meeting when the lights were discussed. She asked if there was some <br />discussion about moving the lights on Parkview Drive. <br />Mr. Metzung said Mr. Diemen drafted a letter to Dynalink (Night Vision) to address this. We have <br />met with them and they have stopped contacting us for some apparent reason but we have enough <br />money of theirs to make any corrective measures we need to make. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked if they could be used on S.O.M. <br />Mr. Metzung said yes. <br />Mr. Busa asked for our Engineers to comment on their recommendation since they are more <br />qualified. <br />Mrs. Mills said maybe Chief Mohr could help also. <br />Mr. Cappello said he does not feel qualified to address lighting. He prefers the white light to the <br />yellow light--but that is a personal opinion. Otherwise, as far as patterns and visibility--he does not <br />feel qualified to address that. <br />1 <br />[] <br />
