Committee voted 4 to 1 for the freestanding poles. <br />Mr. Ilacqua said that is our preference as a Village, our choice (and asked Mrs. Mills to correct him <br />if he is wrong.) <br />Mr. Ilacqua said C.E.I. will probably afford us a choice of 3-4 stand-alone poles if we so chose to <br />vote in that direction. If we don't like the poles they offer us, we can go to a private contractor for <br />other poles. The choices are narrower for the utility pole arms. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />ABSTAIN: Mr. Busa <br />Motion Carried <br />Stand alone poles to be utilized for lighting purposes on both sides of SOM Center Road from <br />Wilson Mills to White Road. <br />Council President Marquardt said since there were 6 in favor the motion carries and the next motion <br />is moot. <br />• A motion to use utility poles with arm extension on-both sides of SOM Center Road- from <br />Wilson Mills to White Road <br />This motion was not considered because of passage of previous motion. <br />• A motion to accept the URS Greiner landscaping recommendation dated 9-25-00 as a <br />footprint for landscaping SOM Center Road from Wilson Mills to White Road <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to accept the URS Greiner landscaping <br />recommendation dated 9-25-00 as a footprint for landscaping SOM Center Road from Wilson Mills <br />to White Road. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there was any discussion. <br />Mr. Busa said he does not recall seeing that recommendation. <br />Mrs. Mills said you have to come to the S.O.M. meetings. Our next meeting will be on the 24~`. <br />Mr. Metzung said that got passed out at Council. <br />Mr. Marquardt asked for a description. <br />Mr. Busa asked how the Committee feels toward the recommendation by URS. <br />Mr. Ilacqua said he believes it was unanimous. He read: By a vote of 5 to 0, the committee <br />recommended accepting the memorandum. Mr. Ilacqua said this is essentially a footprint; this is not <br />
