Regular Council Meeting <br />8-18-08 <br />Page 11 <br />place these areas throughout the walking trails so that people can sit and enjoy the area, not just <br />walk through the area. Mr. Saponaro encourages everyone to give feedback regarding those. <br />The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 25th at 7:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Rinker added that the Service Department did a nice job in installing the bench and <br />adding landscaping. <br />Mr. Prosen added that he sat on it while taking his son for a walk. It was very nice. It might be a <br />little low though. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Marrelli reported that there was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Cemetery - Mrs. Mills reported that there was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Citizen's Advisory Board - Mr. Marrie reported that there will be a meeting scheduled soon <br />for September. <br />Commission on Aain? - There is no report. <br />Drainage & Infrastructure/Stormwater Mgt. - Mrs. Cinco asked if any of the projects have <br />been started. Mr. Cappello replied that Mr. Anselmo was out on Derby laying it out. The one on <br />Metro Park is done. <br />Safety and Service - Mrs. Cinco reported that Safety and Service met on August 4th. At that <br />time they discussed oil and gas well leases, the road salt program and the Senior Snow Removal <br />program. <br />Finance Committee - Mrs. Mills reported that the Finance Committee met this evening. They <br />had 17 items on the agenda this evening. They deferred action on the Timberline Trail pending <br />further report at Council this evening. The Committee also left Ordinances 2008-25 and 2008-26 <br />on second read. <br />Historieal Society - Mrs. Mills reported that the Historical Society is getting ready for the ice <br />cream social the second Wednesday in September. Get ready for cookies and ice cream. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Marrie reported that a meeting has been scheduled for <br />September 6I <br />M.A.R.C. - There was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - There was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Planning and Zonin? - Mr. Marquardt reported that Planning and Zoning met on August 4tn <br />and had a discussion on oil and gas well alternatives, conservancies, co-ops, coalitions and <br />different other possibilities in providing some sort of protection for the Village.
