It is a fact.
John Michalko
6852 Wilson Mills Road
Mr. Michalko asked everyone if they remember the time they went with the biofilter bed and
how many times we had to call and get it maintained. Are they going to maintain this site so
people living next door to this won't go tluough the same stuff he went through? Mayor Rinker
said that is a fair point. The screening is getting bad and it is just getting thinner and thinner.
Relative to the filter bed, Mrs. Mills said she just gave John a complaint about the maintenance
of the property from one of the residents that live next door to it. Mayor Rinker said this is the
first he has heard that it has been an issue. We will follow through. It was a headache for quite a
while. Mayor Rinker suspects that other than those living right there driving by would be
surprised to know what is actually there. We will follow through.
Mr. Marrie asked if there were any other comments. There were none.
Second Reading of Ordinance No. 2008-25, entitled "An ordinance authorizing and
directing the Mayor to negotiate and enter into a non-drilling, non-trespassing oil and gas
lease with Seagull Development Corp. regarding certain property known as Permanent
Parcel Nos. 831-13-005 (4.75 acres), 831-22-031 (1.22 acres), 831-22-002 (2.5 acres) and
all contiguous Village owned properties including S.O.M.
