Regular Council Meeting Minutes <br />12-15-08 <br />Page 3 <br />ENGINEERING - Tom Cappello <br />Mr. Cappello had nothing to report. <br />LEGAL DEPARTMENT - Joe Diemert <br />Mr. Diemert had nothing to report. <br />FIRE - Chief Mohr <br />Chief Mohr had nothing to report. <br />FINANCE - Dave Miller <br />There was nothing to report. <br />POLICE - Chief Dearden <br />There was no report. <br />PARKS & RECREATION - Bill Thomas <br />Mr. Thomas reported that we are now planning the Spring/Summer Parks and Recreation <br />brochure and Parkview Pool will be opening in 24 weeks. <br />ARCHITECT - Ron DiNardo <br />There was nothing to report. <br />HUMAN SERVICES - Eunice Kalina <br />Mrs. Kalina reported that they had their annual holiday party for their senior residents last <br />Saturday. It was a huge success. They had visits from the Mayor and Santa Claus. It went very <br />very well. They have a trip this Wednesday down to see the Rockettes. It is sold out. They are <br />looking forward to that. They will have a holiday party for their card group on December 30tn, <br />the Tuesday before New Year's. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Activities Committee - Mrs. Mills reported the tree lighting was very successful. It was a cold <br />night but it was very nice. The Mayor was there. There were about 75 children in the choir <br />singing. The donuts were delicious. Mrs. Mills thanked the Service Department one more time <br />for all of the help they give us. Thanks also to Debbie Thomas and Danielle Echt for helping set <br />up and making sure everyone was happy. Mrs. Mills also thanked Santa Claus. He was there
