Regular Council Meeting Minutes 12-15-08 Page 4 with the popcorn balls. The next event scheduled is the Winter Solstice on Friday night. Come and have a hot dog with us and learn about nature. The Singing Angels will be here on Sunday. The Menorah Lighting is also scheduled for Sunday at the Community Room. We have a busy weekend. Our next meeting is in February. Architectural Review Board - Mr. Marrelli reported that Architectural Review Board met and approved two signs at 700 Beta. Beautification- Mr. Saponaro reported that the next Beautification Committee is Monday, January 26t . If anyone on Council would like to recommend anyone for a committee, please let us know. We would appreciate that. Board of Appeals - Mr. Marrelli stated that there was no meeting. There is no report. Cemetei-y - Mrs. Mills reported that at the Hillcrest Council of Councils meeting she met the cemetery representative for Mayfield Heights. We will be meeting in the Spring. We need to put some more cinders around the driveway. Also, we are going to have to do some tombstone work. From what the representative from Mayfield Heights is saying, maybe we can get the Service Departments to work together. We will bring Highland Heights in on that too. Hopefully we can get together. It will be fine. It always is. Citizen's Advisory Board - Mr. Marrie reported that there is no report. Commission on Aging - Mrs. Kalina reported that the Committee met on December 2°d. Plans were finalized for the holiday party. Commission members worked extremely hard, along with Patsy Mills, to make the party the success it was. Our next meeting is January 14`h when we will evaluate the party and go on to the next event. Drainage & Infrastructure/Stormwater 1dIgt. - There is no report. Saffety, and Service - Mrs. Cinco reported that Safety and Service met on Monday, December lst. At that time, the Committee again discussed the oil and gas well leases which were also in discussion at Planning and Zoning that same evening. EMS billing for 2009 was discussed. They also discussed the demolition of 390 SOM Center Road which is on the agenda tonight and medical expenses for prisoners. . Finanee CoYnmittee - Mrs. Mills reported that the Finance Committee met this evening. We have 24 items on the agenda. We took no action on two Ordinances, 2008-25 and 2008-26. We deferred action on Ordinances 2008-49 and 2008-50. The rest of them were all recommended for approval. Historical Societv - Mrs. Mills reported that the Historical Society had their annual potluck dinner last Wednesday. It is a nice affair. We invite South Euclid/Lyndhurst who hardly has any members at all. They had about 12 members come. We had about 60 people there. It was a very very nice evening.
