Regular Council Minutes <br />6-28-04 <br />Page 24 <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2004-16. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />Council President Buckholtz said I want to make sure we covered all the amendments. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Chief Dearden said we received information from the department of Justice that we were <br />awarded another $5,000 for this calendar year for the bulletproof vest partnership program. <br />We've been involved in that for the past year so between 2003 and this year's award, we've <br />received over $13,000 in grant money. <br />Council President Buckholtz said thaYs excellent. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said I would like to thank you for the opportunity to work for you for 35 years. I <br />have enjoyed it. This is a unique community; I represent 5 currently. This is unique because <br />25% of your community is a Park and in spite of that you've managed to do a real good job of <br />i, controlling the rest of the greenery in your community and by limited density and I am very <br />proud to have worked for you. <br />Mrs. Mills said have a good time, Steve. <br />Dr. Parker said I would also like to say it has been a pleasure and an honor to work with you, Mr. <br />Hovancsek and your professionalism and integrity is one which we shall aspire to. So thank you <br />for the opportunity. <br />Mr. Marrelli said I want to thank Mr. Hovancsek for his work over the past few inonths. I wish <br />him well. Maybe his wife will let him have a day off now and again. <br />Mr. Metzung said God bless Steve. <br />Mr. Marrie said I agree; God bless him for all he has done for us and for being such a first class <br />citizen and help to this Village. I also wish him and his lovely wife many years of good health <br />and happiness. <br />Mr. Saponaro said I wanted to ask Bill a couple of questions I forgot to ask. He addressed Mr. <br />Thomas and said the basketball hoop at the pool came down and I was approached by about 20 <br />people asking when we will be putting it back up. <br />;f Mr. Thomas said I wasn't aware it was down; I will check. <br />Mr. Saponaro asked, do we have any numbers on number of passholders from last year to this <br />` <br />; <br />I <br />? <br /> <br />L-A <br />year.
