Regular Council Minutes 6-28-04 Page 8 the other folks on the committee were discussing is that if any of the trees-especially any of the large fir trees-should fall, it would damage or ruin many of the markers that make this a historical cemetery. So we have a responsibility to make sure that everything is taking care of the way it should be. Also, there is an encroachment problem with the abutting property which we are going to direct to Joe and those folks to make sure-I don't know what kind of resolution we need to do-but we need to make sure that they know we aren't going to forfeit that piece of the property-at the driveway encroachment. We have some things that we are looking at to make sure that everything is taken care of at the Cemetery. We have a meeting tomorrow with the second arborist and we will be going through, again, all the trees. I will report back at the next meeting. Citizen's Advisory Board - Mr. Saponaro said the next meeting of the Citizen's Advisory is on Monday, July 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the back room. There was a meeting this past week; unfortunately, there was a change in the meeting a few times and most of the committee did not realize that there was a meeting. So, a few people met and disbanded quickly-so there was no meeting actually held. Commission on A2ing - Mrs. Mills read the report from Mrs. Kalina, attached. Drainage & Infrastructure/Stormwater Mgt.- Mrs. Cinco said Drainage & Infrastructure met, I believe it was, June 16. On the agenda tonight is our request for $25,000. We will be doing 9 projects-all that were submitted to the committee with an estimated bid of $17,702. We are asking for the extra because a lot of these, our engineer feels, may require a little extra here and there. We have plenty in the budget so we will be meeting soon to discuss projects that the committee itself would like to see done-bigger projects-like the Worton Park area, I believe and also on Metroparks. Also at this meeting, we made a motion to request all applications for Drainage & Infrastructure to be into our committee in the fall so we could get an early start on the projects in the spring. The Engineer, Building and Service will have more time -hapefully, to evaluate some of these things, rather than having a wet spring like we did this year and everybody wanting our help-which was just a fluke. Some of them went away. So, again, that is where we are and we will be meeting again soon. Safety and 5ervice - Mrs. Cinco said I was not at that meeting and asked Mr. Marrie if he wanted to read the minutes then Mrs. Cinco read from the minutes: The Taser units are on the agenda tonight and it was recommended by Safety and Service; Parks & Recreation talked about paving the parking lot north of the soccer fields and also the 3rd soccer field as Mr. Metzung said in his report there was discussion on softball fields and also we have on the agenda tonight additional lounge chairs for Parkview Pool; trash receptacles were needed at Yours Truly and Mr. Saponaro and a group of kids cleaned that area up real nice. Mr. Saponaro said I organized it; I was not there. Mr. Marrie did the work. Finance Committee - Mrs. Mills said the committee met this evening and recommended the following items for approval: (see agenda attached) Items 1-6. We deferred item 7(an expenditure to do some work at the former Mayfield United Methodist Church)-we would like to defer that for further action; we also approved items 8 through 10; then we also approved Ordinances 2004-27, 28, 29 & 30. Ordinance 2004-23 will be on second reading; Resolution 2004-14 is recommended for approval as is 2004-8 and we also recommended item 18 which is ? ? ?
