Regular Council Minutes <br />7-19-04 <br />Page 3 <br />Mr. Marrelli said within next 2 weeks we will have a chiropractor and another legal clinic in <br />there [761.] He said 6300 Wilson Mills Road is now fully occupied. <br />Parks & Recreation - Mr. Thomas said I sent to Council on July 8 information about our pool <br />statistics for June. My pool staff mentioned there were 531 total pool cards sold for Mayfield <br />Village. Our annual Whitewater Rafting Trip on July 9th, we took 61 rafters to OhioPyle, PA. <br />Our Sports `n More Camp finished up this past Friday. We still have Junior Camp and Teen <br />Adventure Camp that will finish this Friday. The new business, Spirit of Clay, by the <br />barbershop--we will be working with them-they will be offering an adult clay class and we will <br />also have youth and teen classes this coming fall. We have upcoming special events such as the <br />Sizzler Swim Meet and Youth Triathlon. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Activities Committee -Mrs. Roman said the Activities Committee appreciated everyone's help <br />for the Fourth of July celebration. We will be having concerts every Thursday during this month <br />and in August from 7-9 at the Gazebo. We will meet the first week in August and will talk about <br />plans for winter including the Tree Lighting Ceremony and the Singing Angels. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Marrelli said Architectural Review Board had no meeting <br />for June. We will meet on Thursday the 22"d; we have a house addition on Walnut to review. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Marrelli said the Board of Appeals met in June. Deacon's will be <br />coming back tomorrow for signage. We are revisiting the addition for the Corned Beef Shop and <br />the Koren/Cabot lot split denial will be up for appeal. <br />Cemetery - Mr. Saponaro said the committee has determined that there was a need for an <br />arborist to make sure the Cemetery is taken care of properly. We have gone out to bid for 2 <br />different arborists to come in and remove trees, remove the wood and do all the attendant things <br />that need done to preserve the Cemetery. We received two bids; we have accepted the lower bid <br />and work will be starting in the coming weeks. You will see thinning of trees and tree removal to <br />make sure it is preserved properly. High Point Tree Removal will be doing the work. <br />Citizen's Advisory Board - Mr. Saponaro said there will be an article in the Voice of the <br />Village from Jim Mason introducing all the members announcing that residents should feel free <br />to contact the members with any issues they may have. We have to schedule our next meeting <br />but thought it would be good to get it in the Voice of the Village. Coming next year, it will be in <br />the first issue of the Voice of the Village. <br />Commission on Aging -Mrs. Mills read the report from Mrs. Kalina, attached. <br />Drainage & Infrastructure/Stormwater Mgt. -Mrs. Cinco said no meeting; no report. <br />Safety and Service -Mrs. Cinco said Safety & Service met in conjunction with Finance tonight <br />and we had that report earlier. <br />
