Regular Council Minutes
9-27-04
Page 28
Dr. Parker said and just bring it back to Caucus.
Mrs. Cinco asked, how soon do they want to know?
Mr. Chapman said they'd like to know soon. They actually even hoped to begin Wednesday
evening use as of the first week of October. When I spoke with them about the fact that it might
take a couple more weeks, they said that they are in a position to continue to do Wednesday
evenings where they currently do. Earlier is better for them; they don't plan to begin Sunday
mornings until January. They are willing to be flexible.
Mrs. Mills said the Caucus is October 4.
Council President Buckholtz said let's get this back at Caucus and if we have to make it a special
meeting, we can do that.
Mayor Rinker said but again, consensus is we are moving in the right direction.
Several people replied yes.
First Reading of Ordinance No. 2004-39, entitled; "An ordinance authorizing a loan to the
Village not to exceed $3,990,000.00 from the Ohio Department of Transportation, State
Infrastructure Bank to finance a portion of the costs of the Progressive site project and the widening
of S.O.M. Center Road." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole.
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council
requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Rules Suspended
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2004-39.
Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion.
Mr. Brett said we laid this out in detail at the last meeting so I think we've answered all
the questions on that. Are there any other questions?
Council President Buckholtz said this is refinancing the SIB loan.
Mr. Brett replied correct.
There were no other comments.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
Ordinance Enacted
