Regular Council Meeting Minutes <br />9-21-09 <br />Page 5 <br />Council President Buckholtz said, good, he's doing better. Mrs. Kalina continued that on <br />Wednesday they have a trip to Kent to the Museum, lunch at Schwebel's Garden Room and a <br />tour of Schwebel's, where they make the bread. They have a trip on October 9h to Tara which is <br />in Clark, Pennsylvania and Grove City Outlet Mall. They have had many inquiries on the flu <br />shots. They have two sign-ups in the beginning of October. The flu shots will be on October 26t'. <br />This Thursday they have a wreath making class. Their instructor is Patsy Mills. They have a <br />good crowd signed up for that as well. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Activities Committee - Mrs. Mills reported that they will not have a meeting until October. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Marrelli reported that Architectural Review Board met on <br />September 17t to review and have a workshop for the new police station. There are some <br />additions and alterations that the contractor and architects are studying. They are trying to <br />embellish the exterior building. The Architectural Review Board will meet again this Thursday <br />and look at the changes that were requested. We will see how that works out. <br />Beautification Committee- Mr. Saponaro reported that the Committee has not met in August <br />but will be meeting next Monday the 28?' at 7:00 p.m. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Marrelli reported that the Board of Appeals met on September 15th to <br />review a variance for parking for the conference center at the Hilton Garden Inn and <br />unanimously approved the variance for 154 parking spaces. The conference center will be <br />starting up shortly. <br />Cemeterv - Mrs. Mills reported that the Mayfield Village Garden Club is still doing some <br />weeding at the Cemetery. <br />Citizen's Advisorv Board - Mr. Marrie reported that the Board met on Tuesday. The Minutes <br />are not available yet. Eunice was there and made a presentation on the Senior programs and the <br />upcoming programs they are presenting as well as the Senior Snow Removal program, facts and <br />figures on that. They discussed the gas and oil drilling, what Pat brought up earlier about <br />Congressman Dolan and also Senator Grendell's Bill which we did not see at that point at the <br />meeting. There was also discussion on the Echo Drive drilling. We also covered the Green <br />Corridor. We also discussed the Hillcrest Community Fitness proposal in quite a bit of detail. <br />Last but not least, they covered the complete holiday program. Diane had made up a sheet <br />showing the complete holiday program for Civic Hall which was discussed. <br />Commission on Atzing - Mrs. Kalina reported that there was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Drainage & Infrastructure/Stormwater Mgt. - Mrs. Cinco reported that there was no <br />meeting. There is no report.
