This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under <br />"New Business" only. <br />FOR DISCUSSION <br />A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount not to exceed $22,500.00 to <br />StateWide for purchase of a 2006 Ford Explorer. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount <br />not to exceed $22,500.00 to StateWide for purchase of a 2006 Ford Explorer. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />. A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $42,392.51 for Invoice No. <br />2084222 for services rendered by URS for period ending December 30, 2005. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$42,392.51 for Invoice No. 2084222 for services rendered by URS for period ending December <br />30, 2005. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />At this time, Mr. Saponaro explained to the audience that the Finance Committee gets reports <br />and information from the different department heads when they are looking at approving any of <br />the expenditures. A lot of work goes on before raising the motion on Council floor. It is <br />reviewed and discussed by the Finance Committee which then sends it to the Council floor for <br />approval and passage. There are a lot of steps taken before being brought before Council.
