Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
February 27, 2006
Page 7
program. As a first step, at least one person from each department would be selected and
recommended for training on Outlook.
Mr. Marrie added that we have talent within the Village that can do the work Ron Davis wanted
to charge us for. Cheryl and Jeff have a talent which would allow us to handle this ourselves.
They should be the point people and then one point person in each department rather than having
everyone with their hands in it. Mr. Buckholtz indicated there will be a meeting scheduled on
this. Mr. Marrie agreed and added that relating back to the original proposal of Ron Davis with
regard to maintenance, we did not think it was necessary and we are not going to go with that.
Mr. Buckholtz added at least not yet. That is the way he left it with Ron. The doors are not being
closed. When we have more substantial needs that gets a little more complicated, maybe we will
want to do something.
Mr. Marrie stated that in all fairness, he did a good job installing all of the equipment. We just
did not need that particular portion of it.
Wage Review Committee - Mrs. Mills reported that there are two meetings scheduled in March
on the 2° and the 7 at 7:15 a.m.
ULD BrtTSiNESS , `.
OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state
their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under
"Old Business" only.
There were no comments.
Second Reading of Ordinance No. 2005-18, entitled, "An emergency ordinance authorizing and
directing the Mayor to enter into a Development Agreement with Progressive Casualty Insurance
Company relative to the southern most part of the Northwest Quadrant." Introduced by Mayor
Rinker and Council as a Whole. First Reading May 18, 2005, Second Reading June 20, 2005.
This ordinance will remain on second reading.
NEW BITSTNESS ?
. A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $15,738.08 for Invoice No.
2128126 for services rendered by URS for the period ending January 20, 2006.
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of
$15,738.08 for Invoice No. 2128126 for services rendered by URS for the period ending January
20, 2006.
