After they come back, Doug, John and Tom will review -the- <br />properties before the Committee meets so that when they do get together, they can go through <br />the evaluation process. As we speak, we only have one application so far. Mr. Buckholtz asked <br />if there was one received from Mrs. Breeden. Mrs. Cinco indicated that that was not the one <br />they got. <br />Safety and Service -Mrs. Cinco reported that Safety and Service met this evening with <br />Finance. Everything is on the agenda. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Saponaro reported that Finance met this evening. Twelve items were <br />approved by the Committee. Seven Ordinances were also recommended for approval. One <br />Ordinance is being deferred. A discussion was had about the rubbish contract and at the end of <br />the meeting regarding the presentation by Westlake Reed. <br />Historical Society - Mrs. Mills read the report. A copy of the report is attached hereto. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils -Mrs. Cinco reported that there was no meeting, so there is no <br />report. <br />M.A.R.C. - Dr. Parker reported that M.A.R.C. did not have a meeting this August. The next <br />meeting is September 7th at 7:00 p.m. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Marquardt reported that there was no meeting so there is <br />no report. <br />Planning and Zonins - Mr. Marquardt reported that Planning acid Zoning met this evening and <br />approved a consolidation plan for Progressive Insurance Campus III contingent upon all of the <br />property being consolidated coming under one owner. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Mamie reported that they have not met since June. They will meet <br />again in September. Mr. Mamie wanted to briefly cover what has happened in that time. <br />150 people turned out for the Debbie Hudacko Run. This was very good. The Sizzler's meet had <br />440 participants and 700 spectators. That was a big hit. The triathlon had 75 participants. <br />Softball is done for the adults. The fall program begins on August 22°d for the Men's 18 and <br />over, Co-ed on August 28th and the Men's 35 and Over on September 10th. Hopefully everyone <br />received their brochure. One other thing is some of the stats. July was a boomer for participants <br />at the pool. Even though the hottest July was last year, they had 9,800, we had 10,676 this July. <br />At that rate, we will go well over the amount we had in 2005 total. It was very successful. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />2020 Vision Committee - There was no report. <br />Information & Technolo~y - Mr. Mamie reported that WiFi is up and running from this <br />building to police and fire to the pool. It is basically up and down 91. Chief Mohr added that <br />WiFi is at the parks, the ball diamonds, the gazebo and the pool. Over the weekend, the <br />
