Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />August 28, 2006 <br />Page 27 <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. Mr. Brett indicated that this is <br />the street lighting assessment which again for this two-year period has been reduced from the last <br />two-year period. It is .4 mills now. It is getting smaller as we go along. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 2006-14, "An emergency resolution in support of <br />Cleveland Metroparks' application to the Cuyahoga County Natural Resource Advisory <br />Council to acquire three parcels along the Upper 40 Drive in North Chagrin Reservation <br />("Chagrin Valley Ravines, Ridges and Riparian Preservation.") Introduced by Mayor <br />Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to approve Resolution No. 2006-14. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any financial obligation. Mr. Brett indicated that <br />there was not. We are just supporting the Metroparks. <br />Mr. Marquardt asked how they are acquiring this property they are looking at. Mr. Brett <br />responded entail. It is a life estate. When they decide they are going to move or something else <br />occurs, it will revert to them. Mr. Marquardt asked if this was a taking of property. Mr. Brett <br />indicated it was not. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Resolution Adopted <br />Motion to adjourn into Executive Session for personnel matters. <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to adjourn into Executive Session for real <br />estate matters. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Adjournment Authorized <br />Council President Buckholtz advised everyone that there are a couple of items left on the agenda <br />so the meeting will continue on Council's return. <br />Council adjourned for Executive Session at approximately 10:05 p.m. <br />Council readjourned at 10:35 p.m. <br />
