Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council August 28, 2006 Page 27 Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. Mr. Brett indicated that this is the street lighting assessment which again for this two-year period has been reduced from the last two-year period. It is .4 mills now. It is getting smaller as we go along. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Adopted First Reading of Resolution No. 2006-14, "An emergency resolution in support of Cleveland Metroparks' application to the Cuyahoga County Natural Resource Advisory Council to acquire three parcels along the Upper 40 Drive in North Chagrin Reservation ("Chagrin Valley Ravines, Ridges and Riparian Preservation.") Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to approve Resolution No. 2006-14. Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any financial obligation. Mr. Brett indicated that there was not. We are just supporting the Metroparks. Mr. Marquardt asked how they are acquiring this property they are looking at. Mr. Brett responded entail. It is a life estate. When they decide they are going to move or something else occurs, it will revert to them. Mr. Marquardt asked if this was a taking of property. Mr. Brett indicated it was not. ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried NAYS: None Resolution Adopted Motion to adjourn into Executive Session for personnel matters. Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to adjourn into Executive Session for real estate matters. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Adjournment Authorized Council President Buckholtz advised everyone that there are a couple of items left on the agenda so the meeting will continue on Council's return. Council adjourned for Executive Session at approximately 10:05 p.m. Council readjourned at 10:35 p.m.
