Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />September 25, 2006 <br />Page 10 <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Marrelli reported that Board of Appeals met on September 19th. There <br />was one item. It is a rehash from 2002 for an oversized garage for Carmen Miozzi on S.O.M. <br />Center Road. The issue was turned down. Mr. Marrelli expects an appeal to Council shortly. <br />Cemetery - Mrs. Mills reported that the horticulture students will be back working two <br />Wednesdays a month from now on while school is in session. <br />Citizen's Advisory Board - Mr. Buckholtz reported that the Committee met August 21St. <br />Discussed was creek bed erosion on Hanover. Mr. Metzung was on hand at that meeting to <br />answer questions and do some follow-up. Water during the heavier storms at Ridgebury homes <br />was discussed. There was also a lot of questions and answers about the new signage for Aintree <br />North. Also discussed was the possibility of having a stronger presence in the VOV and <br />bringing on some new people and new focuses for the Committee. The next meeting will be <br />Tuesday, October 3rd at 7:00 p.m. <br />Commission on A~in~ -Mrs. Kalina indicated that everything is covered. <br />Drainage & Infrastructure/Stormwater Mgt. -Mrs. Cinco reported that there was no meeting <br />scheduled. Discussed in Finance this evening was what to do about the projects that were not <br />completed by Tom Skully. <br />Safety and Service -Mrs. Cinco reported that Safety and Service met on Monday, September <br />llt . At that time there was discussion on the current status of the projects for drainage, soil <br />borings for the proposed police station, Senior Snow Removal Program, a Resolution of <br />Appreciation to Robert Jamieson, sanitary sewer at the Echo property and Parkview Pool <br />painting. That issue was taken up in our Special Meeting and passed. Mrs. Cinco asked Mr. <br />Thomas where we are at on the painting. Mr. Thomas reported that it should be completed by <br />October 15th. They have not started yet due to the rainy weather. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Saponaro reported that Finance met this evening. Sixteen items on <br />the agenda were approved. We will be going through all of these. One item was deferred. One <br />item was not approved. Three Ordinances and one Resolution were approved. <br />Historical Society - Mrs. Mills read the report. A copy of the report is attached hereto. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils -Mrs. Cinco reported that there was no meeting, so there is no <br />report. <br />M.A.R.C. - Dr. Parker reported that M.A.R.C. met on September 7th . Items discussed were the <br />M.A.R.C. Art show. The reception will be held on Sunday, October lst from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. <br />The Punt, Pass and Kick competition was Saturday, September 16th. The next meeting will be <br />held October 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the Board of Education. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
