Mr. Marrelli stated it was. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2006-41, "An emergency ordinance authorizing and <br />directing the Mayor to enter .into an agreement with the Geauga County Sheriff for <br />boarding of prisoners." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2006-41. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />Chief Dearden indicated that this is a back-up facility due to the on and off difficulty in housing <br />prisoners at primary facilities we are currently using. We may also have a similar ordinance <br />coming up in the next month or two with Solon to be able to use their facility. The daily fee of <br />$75.00 is pretty much the going rate. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any other questions.
