ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None First Reading of Ordinance No. 2006-41, "An emergency ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor to enter .into an agreement with the Geauga County Sheriff for boarding of prisoners." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2006-41. Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. Chief Dearden indicated that this is a back-up facility due to the on and off difficulty in housing prisoners at primary facilities we are currently using. We may also have a similar ordinance coming up in the next month or two with Solon to be able to use their facility. The daily fee of $75.00 is pretty much the going rate. Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any other questions. There were none. Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole.
