Regular Council Minutes <br />11 /20/06 <br />Page 8 <br />individuals who filled out previous surveys. We have some projected activities such as <br />woodworking. A group wants to come in and do that. Webwise Seniors will come back after the <br />first of the year for computer and digital camera classes. We are working on our Christmas party <br />and two trips in December which hopefully will be a go. One is to Ogelbay and one to Carousel <br />to see Singing in the Rain. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Activities Committee - Mrs. Mills reported the Committee is preparing for the tree lighting on <br />December 3` ,Singing Angels on December 9th, the Celebration of Hanukah on December 15th <br />and the Winter Solstice on December 22°d. We also discussed the band concerts for Summer of <br />2007. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Marrelli stated that Architectural Review Board met on the <br />9t of November and went over the signage at the Musca Mall. That will be continued. They <br />asked for some detail on the exterior of the signage. We will be reviewing that once more. We <br />reviewed an addition on Creekwood and that was approved. <br />Beautification Committee -Mrs. Betsa reported that the next meeting is scheduled for Monday, <br />November 27t .Minutes will be provided shortly thereafter. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Marrelli reported that there was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Cemetery - Mrs. Mills reported that the schoolchildren from the Horticulture Center are still <br />going to the cemetery once a month. A financial report prepared by our Finance Director was <br />sent to the members of the Committee. <br />Citizen's Advisory Board - Mr. Marrie reported that there was a meeting last week. Discussed <br />was the Aintree North entranceway on S.O.M. which is complete. Clean-up day on October 7th <br />was also talked about. They had a pretty good turnout. There was an awful lot of trash picked <br />up. A discussion followed about the property owner's responsibility for keeping the area clean. <br />We discussed the Parks and Recreation brochure at the meeting. We had high school students <br />working at all of the wards during the election. There were many compliments for those <br />students. Everyone could not say enough good about them. They were not only very attentive, <br />but they had done their homework. It was truly appreciated. Jeff Schiemann reported that <br />Hanover Woods was working on their signage for their entranceway. They complimented the <br />Service Department for the leaf pick up. Also discussed was the big rock at the Musca property <br />off S.O.M. The rock was removed. Muscas, Jeff and the Service Department got it out. Mr. <br />Metzung stated that we are now the owner of the rock. Jim Mason also discussed representation <br />by Council. They are not caring about this committee. He feels that they have not had specific <br />projects to work on. They are the eyes and ears of the Village. It is a good committee. Maybe a <br />little attention should be given. Everyone should think about projects they can work on. Mr. <br />Maisie said that it might behoove us as a Council or a group to put~a project in their lap and let <br />them kick it around on certain things for the Village. Even if we gave them two or three things <br />and asked their opinion on it. They feel they are a stepchild. Mayor Rinker stated that one <br />
