Regular Council Meeting
4-3 Q-07
PagE; 11

?
?LJ
Motion to authorize expenditure in an amount not to exceed $16,300.00 to King
Excavating for earthwork in the south underpass area.
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to authorize expenditure in an amount not
to exceed $16,300.00 to King Excavating for earthwork in the south underpass area. .
Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion.
Mr. Marquardt asked what the reason is for this. Mr. Metzung reported that this is the area to the
west of the south underpass. This is an opportunity to take while King is working and finishing
up the last of his site restoration for Judge Krenzler's property. This is the work that needs to be
done to excavate material on the west side and also install a storm sewer with catchbasins to
drain that area. This is one of our best opportunities to get in there now while this other work has
to be done and we don't get locked out once King completes his work. Mr. Marquardt asked if
this is the west side. Mr. Metzung replied that the location is the south tunnel, west side of the
street, just north of Fisher's Tavern.
Roll Call: AYES: Ali
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Expenditure Authorized
Motion to authorize expenditure in an amount not to exceed $3,200.00 to Plastall
Service Company for caulking of Parkview Pool.
Mr. Marrie, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize expenditure in an amount not
to exceed $3,200.00 to Plastall Service Company for caulking of Parkview Pool.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Expenditure Authorized
First Reading of Ordinance No. 2007-13, entitled, "An Emergency Ordinance authorizing and
directing the Mayor to enter into a Lease Agreement with Doreen DiFiore for the purpose of
leasing the real estate located at 6484 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio 44143."
Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole.
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council
requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Rules Suspended
