Minutes of the Combined Caucus/Council Meeting 7-16-07 Page 10 Finance Committee - Mr. Saponaro reported that Finance recommended for approval 18 items, two ordinances and one resolution which we will fully discuss in the meeting. Historical Society - Mrs. Mills reported that the Historical Society is in the process of getting bids for repair over the roof which is bad and needs to be replaced. They also will be hosting the tour for the senior group on Friday. Hillcrest Council of Councils - There was no report. M.A.R.C. - Mr. Thomas reported that MARC met on Thursday, July Sth at Parkview Pool. They talked about programs and the upcoming art show. The next meeting is set for September 6`" at the Board office. Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Marquardt stated that there was no meeting, so there is no report. There should be a meeting next month. , Planning and Zonin? - Mr. Marquardt reported that Planning and Zoning met on July 2°d. The agenda item was the final site plan for the Hilton Garden which is our first item on New Business. Recreation Board - Mr. Marrie reported that we did not have a meeting. The next meeting is in the fall. Mr. Marrie would like to mention the fact that the total attendance last year at the pool in June was 5,682. This year it is 7,756. The pool is getting a lot of use. Of course, weather has a lot to do with it also. The other thing is we had 150 runners and walkers for the Debbie Hudacko race. It was a good turnout. It was a lovely day for it too. SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS: 2020 Vision Committee - Mayor Rinker reported that Eric Jochum will be doing an overview at Planning and Zoning following a meeting had with D.B. Hartt and City Architecture. We should see over the next several weeks an updated plan. We will then look at the next steps. Information & Technology - There was no meeting but there will be one scheduled shortly. Mr. Marrie will get a hold of the committee to have a meeting first amongst themselves and then have Phil bring in Proxim Wireless to make a presentation. Obviously we have not had a meeting up until now. Records Commission - Mrs. Mills reported a meeting will be scheduled sometime in August. The date has not been set yet.
