They had a trip last week to Ashtabula County to the covered bridges. It
was a full bus and a great trip. The next trip is scheduled for November 9th to Pennsylvania.
They will be going to see the Nutcracker on November 28th. They have a few volunteers, Boy
Scouts and kids from the high school, to rake leaves for seniors. They have had so much
response. They will have a drawing since they do not have enough volunteers to meet the
demand. We have never done this before. Our suggestion box and mail has never been so
copius.
STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Activities Committee - Mrs. Mills reported that the Committee met on October 3ra and
discussed the bands for the summer concerts coming up in 2008 and for Cruise Night.
Reminders were given for events for the balance of 2007: Christmas Tree Lighting December
2na at the Gazebo; Menorah Lighting, Tuesday, December 4th across the street and also here.
They have delicious potato pancalces; Singing Angels, December 15th; and the Winter Solstice at
