Minutes of the Council Meeting <br />October 22, 2007 . <br />Page 5 <br />the wetlands on December 21St. Hot dogs will be served. The next meeting is scheduled for <br />November 7th <br />c o pp 5 <br />7025 Wilson Mills. Both of them entail second story additions to single story homes. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Marrelli reported that Architectural Review Board met on <br />O t ber llt and a roved two residential additions one at 832 Hardwood Court and one at <br />Beautification- In Mr. Saponaro's absence, Mr. Marrie briefly reported that Jean Britton, Patsy <br />Mills, Carole Marrie, Joe Doran and Mr. Marrie planted approximately 500 bulbs around the <br />Civic Center, gazebo and other pieces of property over the weekend for next Spring. It took <br />them about four hours to do this. They did a lot of digging. Even though some of those beds look <br />like they are neat with a top on them, they were as hard as bricks. They did a good job on it. <br />Mrs. Mills added that Jean Britton has a master plan on how this is supposed to look. There are <br />certain colors of hyacinths and daffodils. <br />Mayor Rinker stated that the planting of trees for the four quadrants is supposed to take place <br />this fall. There should be a total of about 200 trees for the four quadrants. Jean really dialed into <br />that and added wildflowers to go with the trees. Today the beds of the gazebo, tomorrow the <br />interstate. Mr. Buckholtz asked if this came through ODOT. Mr. Marrie replied that she is <br />working with them on it, leaning very heavily on Doug. They have met three or four times. We <br />, don't know a date yet, but it is definitely on the schedule. Mr. Buckholtz stated that tliis is very <br />exciting. It has been a long time coming. <br />The next meeting of the Committee is Monday, October 29tn <br />Board of Appeals - There was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Cemetery - There was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Citizen's Advisorv Committee - Mr. Marrie reported that there was no meeting, so there is no <br />report. He still does not have anything to report on Jim Mason. He has tried to get a hold of him. <br />Mayor Rinker asked if anyone had an update on Jim. Mr. Marrie said that Eric and he have been <br />trying to find out. He had his surgery and then had a relapse about 10 days later. He is back out <br />of the hospital and recuperating. As soon as anyone hears from him, we will let you know. In <br />the meantime, the last two meetings were cancelled because Jim should be here. It's not right to <br />have them without him here. He is the driving force. We should all keep him in our prayers. <br />Commission on Alzing - There was no report. <br />Drainage & Infrastructure/Storrnwater Mgt. - Mrs. Cinco stated that there was no meeting <br />this month. One project has been completed. Two more are in the process by DiFranco and <br />Sons. <br />Safety and Service - Mrs. Cinco reported that Safety and Service met on October 81h. It was <br />combined with Finance. At that time, the committee considered one item dealing with the solar
