Minutes of the Council Meeting <br />December 17, 2007 <br />Page 4 <br />BUILDI10iG - John Marrelli <br />Mr. Marrelli had no formal report tonight, just to wish everyone Happy Holidays. <br />ENGINEERING - Tom Cappello <br />There was nothing to report. <br />LEGAL I)EPARTMENT - Diane Calta <br />There was no report. <br />k'IRE - Chief Mohr <br />Chief Mohr reported that they are teaching CPR at the High School this week. <br />FINANCE - Phillip Brett <br />Mr. Brett reported that the financials for November are not available inasmuch as there was a <br />three cent error on the computer system. Since it is not a human enor, it is a computer error, it <br />will take about $25,000 and several hundred manhours to fix it. They should be ready in <br />January. In January we will have the engineer's resolution, the prosecutor's resolution, the law <br />director's resolution, the clerk of council's resolution and the animal warden's resolution. <br />POLICE - Chief Dearden <br />There was no report. <br />PARKS & REC12EATION <br />Mr. Thomas reported that on Friday, December 14th, Mayfield Village and Mayfield Heights <br />sponsored their first major high school event. We had three bands, a DJ, a variety of games and <br />raffle prizes from merchants. Refreshments were served to 175 students. We plan to do it again <br />next year. For our downhill skiers and snowboard enthusiasts, we have three ski trips planned, <br />Thursday, January 3`d, Monday, January 215t and February 18th, all school holidays. Hopefully a <br />lot of people will sign up. <br />ARCHITECT - Ron DiNardo <br />There was no report. <br />HUMAN SERVICES - Eunice Kalina <br />Mrs. Kalina reported that they held their annual senior holiday party this past Saturday. It was an overwhelming success. Over 80 people attended. Most of them stayed until the end at which
