Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, October 17, 2016 <br />Page 5 <br />John 1VIarrelli (Building) <br />Architectural Review board - We met last week and approved an addition on South <br />Woodlane. <br />®rdinance Review Committee - We met last Tuesday and you have two Ordinances <br />pending tonight, 2016-24 and 2016-25 for comprehensive stormwater management and <br />erosion and sediment control. Both ofthose were approved. <br />Planning and Zoning - We had a vote last Monday. You have on the agenda tonight a <br />motion to approve a Conditional Use Permit at 700 Beta Drive for Hattie Larlham <br />Community Services. <br />l0~dary Setsa (Council) <br />Records Commission -Records Commission met on Wednesday, October 12th. We <br />discussed the retention schedule, an update on off-site storage, report on compliance with <br />public records requests, and legislative updates. The Commission approved May 13, 2017 <br />for the next Shred Day. House Bill 9 Training will also be scheduled in May of next <br />year. The next meeting of the Commission is December 21St at 12:00 p.m. <br />Tom Cappello (Engineer) -With regard to the Beech Hill, Bonnieview, Glenview project, the <br />punchlist was completed last month. So that project is done. The budget was $2.5 million. We <br />came in at about $2,150,000. <br />Ronald Wynne (Finance) - I just wanted to mention, at Caucus I reported that we got our <br />insurance renewal from the County. It was a 24% increase. The insurance consultant that we <br />use and myself continue to work with the County to try and get that rate down as much as <br />possible. I should have some final numbers for you by November's Caucus. <br />Lieutenant Girlbino (Fire) -Last week was Fire Prevention Week. The Fire Department <br />worked with Progressive and did two presentations, one on Campus I and one and Campus II <br />using our Fire Safety Trailer and our live fire training system to do fire extinguisher training. It <br />went very well. <br />William Thomas (Parks and Recreation) -The 18th Annual Halloween Window Painting <br />Contest is being held right now. Students started painting last Thursday. They have until <br />tomorrow to fmish their painting: There are 44 windows throughout the community in Mayfield <br />Heights, Mayfield Village and Highland Heights. We had about 75 students participate. The <br />Annual Wildcat Teen Halloween event was held this past Thursday at the Middle School. There <br />were over 200 6th-8th graders participating in a variety of games, refreshments, photo booths. <br />Everything went very well. The kids had a great time. <br />Senior Services -The October Lunch and Movie at Governor's Village is this <br />Wednesday. We have a covered bridge trip in October that was sold out. New classes <br />this month included arthritic exercise, cooking and baking classes, bridge lessons, <br />
