Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday,-December 19, 2016 '
Page 4
Ms. Wolgamuth stated, we will just keep making adjustments.- If anyone has any suggestions,
.please forward them: Thank you.. ,
Couricil President Saponaro .stated,. very good. I don't know if anyone noticed, there was an
event going on at the Community Room and the fireplace is on. You get to enjoy it from the
outside. As you -are driving by, as the_people are enjoying it on the inside, you can see them.- It's
.really beautiful.
John Marrelli (Building)
Architectural Review Board - We met on December 8th. We reviewed a new business
building sign; Mars Electric.. They should be moving in Wednesday or Thursday of this
week. The Architectural Review Board approved the sign with some stipulations.
Board of Appeals - We will be meeting tomorrow on the same item because of the size
of the letters on the sign.
Mary Betsa (Council): Because of the short week, if packets are lighf, I will double check with
Council on Thursday to see if they would like a packet, otherwise, I will hold them.
Records Commission.-The Commission is meeting this Wednesday the 21St at Noon in
this room.
Ronald Wynne (Finance) -The 2017 Capital Expenditure Budget has been drafted. We will get
it to Council this week. If there are no packets to go out, we will make sure they get out on e-
mail in some fashion so it is in your hands to start taking a look at.
Council President Saponaro stated, very good. So if the budget is going in there, we will want
packets this week. Thank you.
Chief Eugene Carcioppolo (Fire) - I just wanted to thank you all for all of your support over
the last few years. Tonight's another example of that. You have definitely made my job easier.
I want to thank you all for that. It feels good to succeed in things like tonight to bring our
Department up to where I believe it's the level of service that you all have come to enjoy and
expect. Thank you all for that. Happy Holidays.
William Thomas (Parks and Recreation) -
Activities Committee - On Saturday, December 10th we held our Annual Santa Ride and
Party through the community. The weather was very cold and a lot of snow had fallen the
day and night before but our reliable Service Department had all of the roads plowed.
Thank you Doug. Great job. Even with all of those conditions, we arrived back at Civic
Hall at 1:45. The party started at 1:30. It also had something to do with our driver. I
believe our Chief drove the fire truck this year so thank you Gino. We had about 50
children and families.
