Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, April 18, 2016 <br />Page 12 <br />Citizens Advisory Committee - Mr. Williams - The Citizens Advisoiy Committee met on <br />March 22°d. Our guest speaker this month was Mr. Ted Esboi-i7, our Community Economic <br />Development Director. He provided a very thorough and detailed presentation on what <br />economic development means to tlle Village. I understand there were a lot of questions. It was a <br />very collaborative meeting. Thanks Ted. Our next meeting is scheduled for April 25t". <br />Comnussion on Aging - NYrs. Alills - I would like to reiterate aUout the Senior Faii- on August <br />26`" from 5:00-7:00 in the New Community Room. There will be a lot of different departments <br />here for services that are available to all of the seniors in the area. It should be a very very nice <br />affair. We tried it once before and it worked fairly well but we are'hoping this will be a better <br />time. Mayfield Art Show will be at the Library May V'-17"'. <br />Community Economic 1?evelopment Corr?mittee -1VIr. Saponaro - We did not have a meeting <br />this inonth. There is no report. <br />Drainage and Infrastructure - 1Vir. Jerorne - We did not meet this past month but we are <br />going to ineet with our newest member, Mr. A1 Meyers, in May at 6:30 before the Caucus. <br />That's probably what we will do and we will keep discussing projects that are from last year and <br />soine new ones that are frotn this year. <br />Finance Coanmittee - Mr. Saponaro - Finance Committee as you know meets twice each <br />month. We inet this evening. As you inay not know, all of our ineetings are public so you are <br />welcome to attend all meetings including cominittee meetings. Certainly any ineeting that is <br />open to the public, you are welcome to be there. Anyways, we did have 16 items that were on <br />the agenda. 14 of the items were approved. 2 of the iteins were deferred for further action. <br />Most of thein will be on the agenda tonight. <br />Historical Society -1\'Irs. Mills -Our quilt raffle will be on May l lth. That's our annual meeting. <br />We still have quilt raffle tickets available. We will be selling thein at the pancake bi•eakfast. We <br />are also making plans for the 40t" anniversary of the Historical Society. We have been trying to <br />get that house together for 40 years. That will be Septeinber 14"' and we will be honoring Pat <br />Negrelli. She's one of the founding ineinbers of the Historical Society. <br />Mr. Jerome asked, can I just make a quick note? That ineeting is going to be in this room <br />because there won't be a community room anymore. Well, there won't be an old one anyinore. <br />Thanlc you. <br />Ordinance Review ComYnittee - 1VIr. 1Vlarquardt - The Ordinance Review Cominittee met on <br />April 12th. There were two major items on the agenda. One was an item of compliance with Ohio <br />EPA and Phase II. We just discussed that in general. That won't have to be in process until <br />about September so it can be passed by December. The other item was a change in the Drainage <br />and Infrastructure Committee. This one was held off without knowledge of what the objective I <br />was. We will review this again at the next meeting. <br />Planning and Zoning - I12r. lYlarquardt -There was no meeting.
