Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, March 18, 2013
Page 2
We hold a Holiday RafIle. This year we used those funds to restore the living room. We have an
1880 square grand piano. We had it restored. It doesn't play a11 of the keys, but we are not having it
there to play. It's there for the people to see. It's a beautiful piece of furniture. We had Arslanain
Brothers redo an 1880 rug and put a new mat under the rug. Also, we had a storm door to the west
side of the living room restored. That's where our funds go. Because of the attendance and
visitations, in the lower level I am going to make some readjustments down there. That's where
some of the funds this year are going to be used. We are going to do little additions in the lower
level. It's also a given that we do the upkeep of the outside of the house. Again, from the
membership and the Historical Society, I thank all of you very much for considering us. Thank you.
Council President Buckholtz stated, we want to thank you as well. It's certainly a great drawing
point to Mayfield Village. It's a great facility for people to learn from. Thank you and Mrs. Mills
and the team that works so hard.
Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any other comments from the audience.
