Regular Council Minutes <br />6-16-03 <br />Page 12 <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />Mr. Brett said this renewal is July 1St <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2003-20, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing and <br />directing the Mayor to enter into a lease agreement with the Mayfield City School District Board <br />of Education for the purpose of leasing space at its central administration building for the sum of <br />one dollar." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Riter, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2003-20. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, is that for a period of time? <br />Mr. Brett said I would imagine it would come up every year. <br />Council President Buckholtz said it really does not detail what space or how long. <br />Mr. Diemert said I think it is an annual lease. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if it specifies what rooms-or is really just a formality. I <br />only ask for the basement and we didn't do the lease for that. <br />Mayor Rinker said we are able to use on the main floor a suite of offices that were formerly used <br />as administrative space for the school. Because our space is at a premium; this will be very <br />useful. It is nice to know we can coordinate so many different kinds of programs with the school <br />system.
