It was not
written into the specs; it is an item that helps seal and strengthen the concrete and will be
something that I checked with our engineers who checked with O.D.O.T. and O.D.O.T. is saying
it is not an area that they cover. It is an item the Village should look at; we have done it on our
own; we have done it on the North Commons' project, we've done it on Parkview; it is highly
recommended to use these types of products to help maintain these roadways. It will be
something we will bring up next year as we complete the pouring of the next phase.
Mr. Riter asked if there is any further progress on the driveway aprons.
Mr. Metzung said we have made no further progress. There are certainly some that appear as
though they may need to be removed.
