Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, September 19, 2011 <br />Page 3 <br />Mr. Cappello replied, that's been completed. <br />Mayor Rinker asked, has it been evaluated? <br />; <br />Mr. Cappello replied, it looks good. ? <br />LEGAL DEPARTMENT - Diane Calta <br />There was no report. <br />FIRE - Chief Mohr <br />Chief Mohr stated, under new business we will be discussing the smoke detectors. <br />FINANCE - Ron Wvnne <br />There was no report. <br />POLICE - Chief Edelman <br />There was no report. <br />PARKS & RECREATION - Bill Thomas <br />Mr. Thomas reported that this past Friday we had the Sixth Annual Mayfield Village Employees' <br />Golf Outing held at Pine Ridge Golf Course under partly sunny skies. A major upset occurred. <br />Last year's championship team of Mayor Rinker, Doug Metzung and friends were beat this year <br />by former engineer for Mayfield Village Steve Hovancsek and George Wilson. The final team <br />standings were first place, Steve Hovancsek's team; second place, Doug Metzung's team; Vince <br />Fuedo and his friends finished third; fourth place was John Marrelli, Ron Wynne and friends; <br />and fifth place was Bill Thomas, Ron Dinardo and friends; and Kim Reilly from the police <br />department and friends came in sixth. We look forward to next year's event on Friday, <br />September 14, 2012. <br />ARCHITECT - Ron Dinardo <br />There was no report. <br />HUMAN SERVICES - Eunice Kalina <br />Mrs. Kalina reported that we have already received about 75 applications for snow removal. <br />Letters were received a week ago Saturday. That was a very good response. This Wednesday at <br />1:00 in the Community Room there will be a free demonstration and people may attend if they <br />wish, a Tai Chi Fan for health and balance. Very important program. We will be starting the <br />week of September 26ffi a Yoga class and Meditation class on Monday evenings. One goes from <br />4:45 to 5:45, one goes from 5:45 to 6:45. It's $54.00 for each class for the six weeks.
