Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council Monday, September 19, 2011 Page 5 Ride on December 3rd, December 4th Tree Lighting, Singing Angels on the 17th and the Menorah Lighting on the 20th. Our next meeting is scheduled for the first week in November. Architectural Review Board - Mr. Marrelli reported that Architectural Review Board met on the 8t and reviewed the sign package for the Village Mall across the street. The Board came to a consensus. The sign package will go now to the Board of Appeals because there are a couple of signs that are oversized. They will be seeking variances on some minor changes. Board of Anneals - Mr. Marrelli reported that Board of Appeals will meet tomorrow night at 7:30. Cemetery - Mrs. Mills indicated that there was no report. Citizen's Advisory Boarsi - Mr. Marrie stated that there was no report. Our first meeting will be held on Monday, September 26th Cornmission on Agin? - Mrs. Kalina stated that there was no report. Safetv and Service - Mrs. Cinco stated that Safety and Service met on Tuesday, September 6tn Most items were on Caucus and are on the agenda tonight. For the Fire Department, we discussed the replacement of the air bags used for emergency rescue and traffic accidents. For the Service Department, they requested the bid for the painting of the slide structure at the pool. They discussed the Greenway Trail route and the additional paving on SOM and Wilson Mills Road. Mrs. Kalina and the Committee discussed the Senior Snow Removal Program for this winter with the bid results and the o,pt-out program. Finance Committee - Mr. Saponaro reported that the Finance Committee met on September 121and also this evening. We had discussions which led to the approval of 6 expenditures. Nine items were also discussed and approved and are on the agenda for this evening. Historical Societv - Mrs. Mills reported that the Historical Society had our ice cream social last Wednesday. I think from what they told me the people that attended prefer to have it at the pavilion so they can tour the Historical House. Because of the prospective road construction, we changed our venue this year. Next year we will have it at the Historical House. Hillcrest Council of Councils - Council President Buckholtz reported, we will be meeting this Saturday. It will be a program on Reverse 911. Everybody's welcome to attend. M.A.R.C. - Dr. Parker reported that M.A.R.C. met on Thursday, September lst at the School Board building. Discussion basically centered around a recapping of summer programs. The Punt, Pass and Kick contest was held on Saturday, September lOth at the High School. The 34tn Art Show will be held beginning this Sunday, September 25th through October 22nd at the th Library.
