What was Mr. Diemert's role? <br />Mr. Fikaris: Mr. Diemert is the Law Director of Mayfield Village. He served as our advisor. If <br />we had questions for him concerning whether, for example the gender change. We <br />wanted to understand and say, could we change this, under law any word in the Charter <br />that we wanted to change, the "he's" to the "she's" would have taken, would have had to <br />have been put forth as I understand it, we would have to submit that and that would have <br />been, had to be voted on. So questions like that to say, can we lump the gender changes <br />together, instead of saying, in Section 3, Article I and Section 4, Article II. He was an <br />advisor. As he serves for the Village. <br />Q: But for 84 and 86, could you say what his role was? <br />Mr. Fikaris: For the entire Charter, his role was an advisory one. <br />Q: It sounds like you had a lot of influence. <br />Mr. Diemert: I think I was at 2 out of 10 meetings maybe. <br />Mr. Fikaris: Yes. But the Minutes are available. Everything that was said - <br />Mayor Rinker: You've read the Minutes? <br />Q: I read some of the Minutes. In his letters, it sounded like you had a lot of influence. <br />Mayor Rinker: How does it sound like that? I'm curious. <br />Q: I can get the letters and forward them to you if you'd like me to. <br />Mayor Rinker: We have disseminated those to the public, so I'm trying to understand what - <br />Q: I don't have them with me.. If you'd like I'll dig them up and respond to you in an e-mail <br />or call me. <br />Mayor Rinker: When you say they sound like, that's a pretty blanket statement. I'm just curious. <br />Because I think we're trying to explain to people, there was no agenda here. There was
