Regular Council Meeting Minutes
12-2.0-10
Page 4
DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS:
SERVICE - Douglas Metzung
There was no report.
BUILDING - John Marrelli
There was no report. Happy Holidays to everybody.
ENGINEERING - Tom Cannello
There was no report.
LEGAL DEPARTMENT - Ms. Calta
There was no report.
FIRE - Chief Mohr
There was no report.
FINANCE - Ron Wynne
There was no report.
POLICE - Chief Dearden
There was no report.
PARKS & RECREATION - Bill Thomas
Mr. Thomas reported that we had our Santa Ride and our party on December 4t'. Again we had
Jason Brothers who is a fireman from Mayfield Village who did an outstanding job of driving the
fire truck as well as making sure that our children and Santa and everyone that was greeting
Santa for popcorn balls were safe. Along with that we added an additional auxiliary policeman,
Ken Mott who was ahead of the fire truck and did a great job of notifying people of when we
were going to get there. This year was probably the laxgest turnout for families along the route
that we have ever had. We were running probably 45 minutes to an hour late. As a result of Ken
going ahead, that gave the individuals and families an opportunity to prepare so they weren't
missing the fire truck ancl going in and saying, we missed it, but they weren't missing us because
we were .an hour behind: And so I did want to thank those individuals. .
