Regular Council Meeting <br />10/24/05 <br />Page 7 <br />BUILDING -John Marrelli <br />Mr. Marrelli reminded everyone that a special Planning and Zoning Workshop is scheduled for <br />this Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Civic Hall. Everyone is invited to attend. <br />ENGINEERING -Tom Cappello <br />Nothing to report. <br />PROPERTY MANAGER - Lloyd Chapman <br />Mr. Chapman reported that a couple of weekends ago, the Service Department, Building <br />Department and Mr. Chapman did a tour of all of the rental properties. It was nice for him. He <br />got to meet all of the clients personally. There were a few safety issues identified that are being <br />followed up on. The clients seemed very happy. All of the properties at this point in time have <br />renters in them at least through November 1St including the two FEMA rentals that we discussed <br />already. <br />LEGAL DEPARTMENT -Diane Calta <br />Ms. Calta reported that there are two motions on the agenda tonight to leases for the properties <br />rented by FEMA. The reimbursement agency, Ohio Housing Finance Agency, has requested that <br />those leases be in writing to receive reimbursement. One house will be rented at $1,000.00 a <br />month, the other one $750.00. <br />FIRE -Chief Mohr <br />Chief Mohr reported that the Fire Safety House will be in next week. <br />FINANCE -Phillip Brett <br />Mr. Brett reported the Sewer Liaison Committee meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, <br />October 27tH <br />POLICE -Chief Dearden <br />Chief Dearden indicated that there was nothing to report. <br />PARKS & RECREATION -Bill Thomas <br />Mr. Thomas reported that the Seventh Annual Halloween Window Painting Contest results were <br />announced on Friday. The two top windows were Gary Ann Hair Studio and MicroCenter. Mr. <br />Thomas thanked all of the judges and everyone who helped out. <br />
