Regular Council Meeting
11/21/OS
Page 5
Cappello indicated that does not have to meet the spec as far as the temperature. Also, as Doug
indicated, the ramping material will come off. It obviously will have to be maintained
throughout the winter.
BUILDING -John Marrelli
Mr. Marrelli reported that Progressive claim center will be beginning construction this week.
We should have some interior signage samples within the next couple of weeks.
ENGINEERING -Tom Cappello
Nothing to report.
PROPERTY MANAGER -Lloyd Chapman
Mr. Chapman reported that a meeting is scheduled with the City Architecture and some of our
local business constituents to get feedback from them on some of the preliminary planning work.
It is important to them to get this feedback prior to the next stage of the process. They take that
feedback and move it to another level. That meeting will occur here, Monday, November 28th at
6:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
We have on Council agenda for approval this evening the Lease for 390 SOM. The tenant was
promised that we will keep rates the same for an additional 12 months. That will be signed this
week as well.
LEGAL DEPARTMENT -Diane Calta
Nothing to report.
FIRE -Chief Mohr
Chief Mohr reported that in the Voice of the Village there was a flyer looking for citizen
involvement of our community towards a citizen emergency response team (CERT team). We
have had 6 people approach us wanting to participate in that group in just one week. We are
thrilled with the results. This is something we will work on in 2006 as a response team of
Mayfield Village residents for Mayfield Village. This is being done throughout the County.
Tomorrow is another meeting of the Hillcrest area fire departments regarding a disaster plan and
upgrading our common disaster response for all of the Hillcrest area.
FINANCE -Phillip Brett
Mr. Brett reported that on the agenda this evening is a revised appropriation ordinance taking
into account some of the changes we have had recently in planned expenditures.
