This service and inspection facility was approved at the Planning &
Zoning meeting and requires Council confirmation.
Mr. Marrie, seconded.by Mr. Saponaro made a motion to grant a conditional use permit at
651 Beta Drive for a Claims Service Center.
Mr. Marquardt said with all due respect to Progressive as our great benefactor, I do not
believe that this facility fits with the vision that we have for Beta Drive. In the words of
Progressive's Director of Property, Kevin McGrath, he said light industrial, light
manufacturing is the appropriate zoning for this we're finding. I think that accurately
describes what Beta is now but I don't think that is the vision that we have for Beta so I am
not for this Special Use Permit.
