Regular Council Meeting <br />4-18-OS <br />Page 5 <br />' Architectural Review Board - Mr. Marrelli said Architectural Review Board met last week. <br />There were 2 items on the agenda. One was new 2-car garage and the other was refacing a brick <br />house with stone. Both were approved. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Marrelli said there was no meeting; no report. <br />Cemeterv - Mr. Saponaro said there was a meeting scheduled for May; I don't know the exact <br />date but Councilman Hargate and Councilman Sonenstein and I will have our annual meeting <br />and get things underway for the Cemetery. <br />Citizen's Advisorv - Mr. Saponaro said the next meeting of the Citizen's Advisory Board will <br />be Apri125 at 7:00 in the Community Room Conference Room. At our last meeting we actually <br />deferred our meeting; we had members come to the Caucus so they could be a part of the <br />Fairmount Center for the creative and performing arts. They were all very impressed and <br />Citizen's Advisory gives their wholehearted support. <br />Commission on Aging - Mrs. Mills said Eunice Kalina is on vacation. She gave me a report <br />which I left at home so I will have that included in your packet. (Sorry about that.) <br />Drainage & Infrastructure - Mrs. Cinco said I am happy to report that Department Heads <br />started to evaluate the projects this morning. They have evaluated 14 in the Sandalwood/Wilson <br />Mills area. We have an expanded number of projects once all the applications were in-in fact, it <br />doubled. They have a lot of work on their hands. Mr. Marrelli divided the properties into 9 <br />groups. The first group was 14 which they did today and the remaining 13 will be at 8:00 <br />tomorrow morning I was told. So there is a little bit of work yet and then the committee will <br />meet and go over their evaluations and see where we stand. <br />Safety & Service - Mrs. Cinco said Safety & Service met on Apri14. At that time we had discussion <br />on the bids for the HVAC upgrade for the Civic Center, the electrical work, repairing the west end <br />roof and he sent onto Ordinance Review fire inspection fees as requested by Chief Mohr. Finance <br />will discuss TC-3 and we are waiting for more information. <br />Finance - Mrs. Mills said Finance Committee met this evening and recommended the following for <br />approval: Ballash Press for the Voice of the Village; $6,600 for the pool for the sodium <br />hypochlorite; $12,500 for SPAN. We deferred for further discussion the TC-3 transportation <br />service and also deferred was the Community Reinvestment Area appointees and also deferred <br />for action was the TIF item appointed by the Mayor; approved was $90,000 for Great Lakes <br />Construction and authorization to go out to bid for a culvert replacement on Thornapple <br />Drive at the Smakula pond; $8,000 was approved for stone work to the VanNess Stone <br />Company (that will be for stone use throughout the Village); $6,500 was approved for <br />Agresta Construction for the repair of Wilson Mills Road at the D.O. Summers' <br />location; we approved the D&D Security alarm at the Civic Center for $22,829; we also <br />approved the Willham Roofing Company for $69,635 (that is for the west wing of the <br />building); we recommended for approval a change in work order for $34,392.20 (that is <br />for the concrete work in Phase 3 for Great Lakes Construction); we also recommended <br />for approval the Resolution for the Fairmount Center and we also recommended a
