DRAFT
Council6/20/OS
Page 2
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given.
Mr. Wes Marrotte from Glenview Road said he had a question regarding the proposed police
station. He said there was no number of what the Village planned to spend and questioned
whether some of it could be funded out of current income, particularly what is proposed coming
from Progressive. He felt that Council would have trouble convincing the voters to pass this
issue because of the amount of money that the Village is getting from Progressive. Mr. Marrotte
wanted to know how the Village could set a tax without knowing how much the police station
would cost.
Mayor Rinker said he didn't have the cost yet as to how much the police station would be;
however, the legislation will be rescinded later on tonight and he will explain later on in the
Council meeting.
Mr. Marrotte asked if the Village was still going to build a police station. Mayor Rinker said yes
and he would explain later on.
LCSON,9 TDaE$nRA?'T?IO'N; 0IF?,1VI.xll1?U?
Regular Council Meetin-g - Mav 19, 2005 - Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion
to approve the minutes as written.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
Minutes Approved
Special Council Meeting - June 6, 2005 - Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to
approve the minutes as written.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
Minutes Approved
Mayor Rinker had no comments.
xG01i4?MsEN?'I?S,?g+R°Oli`?I?C;OU?N,,C?kI=I,?P?R??SI?DF?NT;?B+i?TRCKH?OL? ?? ;
Council President Buckholtz had no comments.
