They will have their last meeting next <br />Monday before the July and August recess. <br />Commission on A in? - Mrs. Mills reports that Mrs. Kalina's report was left at the Civic Center <br />but will make sure a copy of her report is attached to the minutes. <br />Drainage & Infrastructure/Storm water Mana eg ment - Mrs. Cinco is going to ask Mr. Metzung <br />for a report on that; it has been slow going for the applications this year, getting a committee out <br />to evaluate. Mrs. Cinco advised that it is her understanding that the 2004 Projects are moving <br />along. <br />Mr. Buckholtz asked Mr. Metzung how many projects they had going from last year and Mr. <br />Metzung said approximately 10. <br />Safetv and Service - Mrs. Cinco advised they met on June 6, 2005. At that time, they discussed <br />the Senior Snow Removal Program and the pool pump emergency repair. Mrs. Cinco asked if <br />the Finance Meeting received more information from Mr. Metzung regarding the trash toters and <br />Mrs. Mills said no. Mrs. Cinco advised the bid results for the toters are in. Mrs. Cinco further <br />advised that they discussed the ball field lighting and the Civic Center theater seats. She further <br />advised that they approved that the street striping going out to bid and the recommendation for <br />the Thornapple Drive Culvert Replacement Program. <br />Finance Committee - Mrs. Mills advised they met earlier this evening and they had 14 items on <br />the agenda and they approved everything from Item # 1 to # 10. Mrs. Mills advised Ordinance <br />No. 2005-18 is to be kept on second reading. Mrs. Mills further advised Ordinance No. 2005-13 <br />regarding the 10-Mil limitation, they are deferring action on that. Ordinance No. 2005-17, <br />purchase or property on SOM, the Finance Committee approved that. Ordinance No. 2005-22, <br />tax budget, requesting approval of that for this evening. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Mills advised that they have suspended Open House Sunday visitations <br />during the summer. With the road conditions as they are, they have had very few visitors. They <br />will, however, book tours by appointment. Maintenance continues and the storm door on the <br />living room has been replaced. The 2005 raffle quilt "Rainbow Sherbet" is off the frame and <br />ready for binding. Tickets are available and will be available for drawing at the Ice Cream <br />Social. Four portraits of the Nevel Family, early settlers in Mayfield, have been donated by their <br />family. The four former residents are at rest at the Union Cemetery. The Ice Cream Social is in <br />September and in October and November, the Days I Remember Toy Show is slated for fall. <br />M.A.R.C. - Dr. Parker advised MARC met on June 2, 2005. The flag football has been very <br />successful this year. The competition will be held September 17, 2005. The lacrosse program is <br />getting off to a slow start and the Art Show is scheduled at the Library on Friday, September 23, <br />2005 until Sunday, September 25, 2005. The Mayfield Adult Community Education Offices will <br />be moving to 784 SOM Center Road. The next meeting is on July 7, 2005.
