DRAFT <br />Council6/20/OS <br />Page 5 <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Marquardt advised they met on June 14, 2005. There were <br />three proposals discussed. One was on residential rubbish regulations; the second one was on <br />annoying vehicle sound systems and the third one was a fire inspection fee schedule ordinance. <br />All three items needed more information and they will be discussed at the next meeting. <br />Planning and Zonin? - Mr. Marquardt advised there was no meeting and no report. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Marrie advised that as he mentioned earlier, Mr. Thomas is out and his <br />comments were that Parkview Pool opened the week of June 9, 2005 and that week was one of <br />the hottest in a long time. Mr. Marrie advised the impeller for the pool pump, which they <br />discussed at Caucus, was replaced on Friday, June 17, 2005. There was no interruption in the <br />pool schedule. Mr. Marrie advised that they still needed to talk about it further, as far as <br />replacement goes. Mr. Marrie believes that Mr. Thomas is discussing this with Mr. Metzung and <br />others for recommendations. Sports & More Camp has 159 campers signed up and in the Junior <br />Camp, there is 80; kick ball has 24 participants and sand volley ball has 8 teams. The horse back <br />riding clinics for the children, there are 12 riders and the Recreation Board, Mr. Bill Thomas and <br />Mrs. Danielle Echt, will be working on the fall brochure. One other comment from Mr. Thomas <br />to President Buckholtz, he will be discussing with you about the pool parking, that one that was <br />instituted for five-minute pick-up and drop off. There are some problems, not major ones, that <br />he would like to discuss with you. Mr. Buckholtz advised he would call Mr. Thomas about that. <br />Cp;?riT?dAaT ??rl.lilVitMTTTT-Ul473i?i p[gl!i24 ';C <br />2020 Vision Committee - There hasn't been a meeting since the last one that was reported on. <br />Mr. Jochum from the audience advised he had a call into the city architecture and will schedule a <br />meeting after that sometime. Mr. Jochum advised they were getting the survey done. Mayor <br />Rinker said he didn't think they had the results back from it, they only started it about two weeks <br />ago. <br />Information & Technologv - Mr. Marrie advised they met on May 23, 2005, as he commented <br />in the earlier meeting and recommended that we continue to use Mr. Ron Davis from Tec-On- <br />Call for work in the Civic Center, basically the work on computer technology. We will work <br />with him on an "as needed" basis, we will not hire him as a Village employee; Mr. Davis will not <br />have a desk or an office. Mr. Marrie also advised they had recommended very strongly that Mr. <br />Davis is our point man on all future requests for any type of IT type of equipment or IT systems, <br />computers, phones, printers, programs, etc. Mr. Marrie said with Council approval or the <br />Mayor's approval, the requests go to Mr. Davis and tie them together so we can keep on going in <br />the same direction instead of each department going their own way. After the requests are <br />qualified and justified, they will be placed with the proper committees for approval. Mr. Davis <br />will also keep a current inventory of all usable equipment that we have in the Village so we can
